Work on a flat surface, guide the material steadily through the blades and avoid twisting the scissors during a cut. Test thicker or unfamiliar materials on an offcut before starting your final project.
After use, wipe away loose fibres and keep the blades clean and dry. Remove protective oil before first use if present, and store the scissors closed and safely out of children's reach.
